1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using Diamond Intel (diamondintel.gg), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our platform. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time, and your continued use of the site following such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
2. Description of Service
Diamond Intel is a free, fan-made companion tool for MLB The Show 26 Diamond Dynasty. We aggregate and display publicly available game data from The Show's public API, including card information, marketplace prices, flip opportunities, and scouting reports. We also offer an optional Chrome extension that scans your in-game inventory to identify duplicate items you can sell. This service is provided for informational and entertainment purposes only. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or licensed by Sony Interactive Entertainment, San Diego Studio, Major League Baseball, or the MLBPA.
3. User Conduct
You agree not to use Diamond Intel for any of the following purposes:
- Scraping, crawling, or otherwise systematically extracting data from our platform
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to our systems or data
- Using automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with our service
- Engaging in harassment, spam, or abuse of other users
- Reverse-engineering, decompiling, or attempting to derive the structure of our application
- Reselling or commercializing data obtained from Diamond Intel
- Any activity that violates applicable laws or regulations
4. Chrome Extension
Diamond Intel offers an optional Chrome extension ("Diamond Intel Scanner") subject to these additional terms:
- Inventory access: The extension reads your inventory on mlb26.theshow.com only when you manually initiate a scan. It does not run in the background or access data without your action.
- Local storage: Scan results are stored in your browser's localStorage on the Diamond Intel website. We do not upload, store, or share your inventory data on our servers.
- Market price lookups: The extension sends item UUIDs (non-personal identifiers) to our API to retrieve current marketplace prices. No personal or account information is transmitted.
- No guarantee: Quicksell values and marketplace prices are estimates based on publicly available data. Actual in-game values may differ.
- Use at your own risk: The extension interacts with The Show's website. While it only reads data and does not perform any in-game actions, you use it at your own risk and are responsible for compliance with The Show's terms of service.
5. Advertising & Sponsored Content
Diamond Intel is a free platform supported by advertising revenue. By using our platform, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
- Display advertisements: We display banner and in-feed advertisements served by third-party ad networks, including Google AdSense. These ads help keep the platform free for all users.
- Rewarded video ads: We may offer optional video advertisements you can choose to watch in exchange for a temporary ad-free browsing experience. Watching rewarded ads is entirely voluntary.
- Ad personalization: Our ad partners may use cookies, device identifiers, and browsing data to serve relevant ads. You may opt out of personalized advertising through your browser settings or the ad network's opt-out tools.
- Third-party content: Diamond Intel is not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of third-party advertisements displayed on the platform. Clicking on ads or engaging with advertiser content is at your own risk.
- Ad blockers: While we respect your right to use ad-blocking software, doing so may limit your access to certain features or content. We reserve the right to detect and respond to ad-blocking technology.
6. Subscriptions & Payments (Future)
Diamond Intel may introduce optional paid subscription plans in the future. If and when subscriptions become available:
- Payment processing: Payments will be processed by Stripe. Diamond Intel never sees or stores your full payment details (credit card numbers, CVV, etc.).
- Recurring billing: Subscriptions may be billed on a recurring monthly or annual basis. You will be clearly informed of pricing and billing frequency before subscribing.
- Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. No refunds will be issued for partial billing periods.
- Price changes: We reserve the right to change subscription pricing. Existing subscribers will be notified in advance of any price increases.
- Free tier: Core features of Diamond Intel will always remain free. Paid subscriptions provide enhanced or premium features only.
7. In-Game Currency & Virtual Items Disclaimer
Diamond Intel provides marketplace data, flip suggestions, investment analysis, and inventory scanning tools related to MLB The Show's in-game currency ("Stubs") and virtual items. By using these features, you expressly acknowledge and agree:
- No guarantee of profit: Flip opportunities, investment recommendations, and price data are informational only. Market conditions change rapidly, and there is no guarantee that any suggested transaction will be profitable.
- Not responsible for losses: Diamond Intel is not responsible for any loss of Stubs, virtual items, or in-game currency resulting from your use of our platform, extension, or data — whether due to inaccurate data, delayed pricing, failed transactions, market volatility, or any other reason.
- Not financial advice: Nothing on Diamond Intel constitutes financial, investment, or trading advice. All marketplace tools are provided for informational and entertainment purposes only.
- User responsibility: You are solely responsible for all decisions made regarding buying, selling, or holding virtual items in MLB The Show. Diamond Intel is a tool — you make the final call.
- Game changes: Sony Interactive Entertainment and San Diego Studio may modify game mechanics, marketplace rules, card values, or API availability at any time without notice. Diamond Intel is not responsible for any impact such changes have on your experience or in-game assets.
8. Intellectual Property
Diamond Intel and our branding, logo, and original content are the intellectual property of Diamond Intel. However, we acknowledge the following:
- MLB The Show, Diamond Dynasty, and related trademarks are owned by Sony Interactive Entertainment, San Diego Studio, Major League Baseball, and the MLBPA.
- Card images and game data are the property of their respective owners, including SDS, MLB, and individual player likenesses.
- We display this content for reference and informational purposes under fair use principles.
9. Third-Party Data Disclaimer
Data displayed on Diamond Intel is sourced from The Show's public API:
- Price data may be delayed and is not guaranteed to be real-time or accurate.
- Market conditions change rapidly, and prices shown may not reflect current marketplace values.
- Diamond Intel is not financial advice. We make no representations about the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of marketplace data. Use all information at your own risk.
- We are not responsible for financial losses resulting from your reliance on data from this platform.
10. Account Terms
While Diamond Intel currently operates without user accounts, we reserve the right to implement authentication (including third-party providers like Clerk) in the future. If account creation becomes available, you will be responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and are fully responsible for all activities under your account. You agree to provide accurate information during registration and to notify us of any unauthorized access.
11. Limitation of Liability
Diamond Intel is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- We disclaim all warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Diamond Intel.
- We are not liable for any loss of in-game currency (Stubs), virtual items, or any other in-game assets resulting from your use of our platform, tools, or data.
- We are not liable for any damages arising from third-party advertisements or your interaction with advertisers on our platform.
- Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed $0 (zero dollars).
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Diamond Intel, its operators, and contributors from any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from or related to: (a) your use of Diamond Intel or the Chrome extension; (b) your violation of these Terms of Service; (c) your violation of any third-party rights, including The Show's terms of service; or (d) any claim that your use of Diamond Intel caused loss of in-game currency, virtual items, or any other damages. This indemnification obligation survives the termination of your use of Diamond Intel.
13. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to Diamond Intel at any time for violations of these Terms or for any other reason without notice or liability. Upon termination, your right to use the service immediately ceases.
14. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this page. Your continued use of Diamond Intel after any such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
15. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
